Royal Happenings - Nine is Fine For EquiMania!November 2014
Equine Guelph is making its ninth straight appearance at the prestigious Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (the Royal) from November 7 - 16 and is partnering with both the Royal and the Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF) to introduce youth to the wonderful world of horses.

Equine Guelph is partnering with the OEF and launching "Ticket to Ride", a program which offers youth an opportunity for a FREE introductory riding lesson (or introduction to horses) at participating OEF member riding facilities.
A special evening for the Girl Guide groups in the Toronto area will take place Wednesday, November 12 from 6:00 - 9:00. They will participate in an exciting itinerary of activities working towards earning their Horse Power Badge! This will include visiting the stables to learn from the pros on how to tack up horses for riding or driving, learning about horse behaviour and care at EquiMania! and gaining knowledge about breeds and grooming at the OEF booth. Their evening will culminate in a special presentation by OEF in the Animal Theatre and then each Girl Guide will receive a special Stable Mate gift from Breyer.
"The Royal is all about great partnerships that provide the opportunity for our visitors to get in touch with agriculture," says Sandra Banks, CEO of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. "We are pleased to showcase these initiatives with Equine Guelph and the Ontario Equestrian Federation, offering the chance for our youth to gain hands-on interactions with the horse world."

Explorer game, see the new Helmet Safety display and purchase your Horse Health Check barn poster (makes a great Christmas present for your barn)!
