Current news is available at TheHorsePortal.ca, Equine Guelph's online learning platform for practical, quick learning. Given the vast amount of information on horse health and welfare, Equine Guelph has archived its past news articles from 2002-2020. They are listed below, along with a search function available to find specific healthcare topics. |
Reid Farm & Equestrian Centre knows there is more to the season of giving than ribbons and bows. Their way to spread the good will of the season was brainstormed between barn owner, Donna Reid, trainer Jodi Mallette and equine massage therapist Heather Doig.
They all understand how fortunate they are to be horse owners.
Rather than giving each other the usual ‘horsey’ gifts to celebrate the spirit of the horse in their facility, they decided to hold a fund raiser which would give back to the entire equine community.
Upon seeing Equine Guelph’s horse welfare education program – they knew this was the right fit! They have spread the word and spread the joy to neighbouring farm Exclusively Horses, in Kenilworth, ON who specializes in retirement care for noble steeds.
Thank you,
• Equine Massage by Heather Doig • Reid Farm & Equestrian Centrefor organizing this Equine Guelph fund raiser within your barns and giving back to the horse industry in this very special way.
